Food, films, and conversations
Seven Monday evenings for 16–21s.No pressure. No commitment. Just come and see.
What it is
The Monday Table is a Sycamore series about the Christian faith and what it means for life today. It gives you space to meet others, share ideas, explore your own beliefs and think about the questions that really matter.
Each night there's a short film, then time to talk. There's no pressure and no commitment. You can be yourself without any fear of being judged.
What you'll find is a real sense of community, a spirit of friendship, some great conversation and, most weeks, some very good food.
Every Monday
Short, thought-provoking clips designed to spark honest conversation.
A supportive space where no question is off-limits and every opinion is respected.
Enjoy great food while building real, lasting friendships with people your age.
“An amazing experience”
This is open to all young people aged 16 to 21, regardless of background, faith or personal beliefs. Sceptics welcome. Questions welcome. Nobody will ask you to sign anything or believe anything. There's a chair pulled out for you already.
The dates
Come to the first one and see. Each night stands on its own, but the conversation gets better the more of them you're at.

For parents and guardians
Your teen would be joining a small Sycamore group hosted by Jesus Youth Australia, in a parish hall in Kingswood. Here is what you'd want to know.

Under 18
A parent or guardian registers you through Jesus Youth Australia's safeguarding form. It opens in a new tab and takes a few minutes.
18 and over
Register yourself, right here on this page. It's more like RSVPing to a friend's dinner than filling in a form.
A few details so we know you're coming and can feed you properly.
Your details are used only to run this series: to keep in touch, cater properly and reach your emergency contact if needed. They're stored securely, seen only by the organisers at Sycamore Youth, and never shared or sold. Ask Soji at any time to update or delete them.
